"Economy of Love"

“Economy of Love” is both our four guiding, peace-promoting principles and a certification standard for products that are sustainable, ethical, and transparent throughout the supply chain. We support a transparent economic system, allowing conscious consumers and producers to work with us to protect nature and ensure fair compensation for all.

“Economy of Love” is a peace-promoting and nurturing community of businesses, farmers, and consumers who create an economy rooted in respect and care for people and nature.

The “Economy of Love” was started by the Egyptian Biodynamic Association (EBDA) to support sustainable farmers and businesses and their peace-building, life-enhancing collaboration.

We define a sustainable economy as a peace-promoting servant of the global community—both now and in the future. Sustainable development is about inner and outer growth. We must dare to think holistically. Businesses must contribute to society, protect the earth, and create fair jobs.

In the “Economy of Love,” sustainability is about the peace-promoting balance between society, economy, culture, and the environment. A world where businesses care only about profit while ignoring people and the environment creates imbalance, stirs conflict, and harms nature.
